Computer trainer in Laos PDR
Heather spent two years as a volunteer in Laos PDR as a computer trainer. She had a variety of new experiences and rewarding challenges relating to computer training and living. The experience changed her life and she has very fond memories of her work colleagues and the people she meet while living in Laos. The Laotians are extremely kind, gentle, and generous people. When Heather was not working she had many cycling adventures to very remote parts of Laos, and one day she would love to return and explore more.

Interests and hobbies
When Heather is not working she loves to go cycling with her cycling buddies. Now that she has two new knees, she is enjoying walking again and looks forward to having new adventures in the wilderness. She also loves spending time in her gardens; ensuring there are plenty of colourful plants growing; and the vegetable garden is producing lots of healthy vegetables organically grown and spray free! She has a saying “if it’s going to be, it’s up to me!“.
